Upper Anacostia Crossings
Project Overview
The Upper Anacostia Crossings Projects represent an effort to facilitate early multi-jurisdictional coordination on transportation and infrastructure improvements that have the potential to yield future savings in both money and construction-induced congestion for the public. The District Department of Transportation (DDOT), Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA), Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior (DOI), and Prince Georges County (Maryland) are in the early stages of coordinating National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) considerations (and later possible design and construction) across seven projects in Ward 7 near the intersection of Route 50 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway:
KEY DESIGN ELEMENTS
