DDOT to Hold Public Meeting for the Barney Circle and Southeast Boulevard Transportation Planning Study

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting a public meeting for the Barney Circle and Southeast Boulevard Transportation Planning Study. The study will investigate transforming the former Southeast Freeway into a boulevard that is integrated with adjacent neighborhoods between the new 11th Street Bridge and Barney Circle.

The meeting will take place Thursday, February 21, from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Payne Elementary School.

The public is invited to attend and hear about the details of this study and future plans for this area. Representatives from DDOT and the project’s technical team will be on hand to answer questions.
